DESCRIPTION
The pom pon form hinoki cypress is a stunning evergreen that is a must have for collectors of fine quality specimen plants. This up-right columnar chamaecyparis has glossy dark green scale-shaped foliage with pom pon-like branches that grow in what is known by horticulturalists as the oriental hindu-pan shape. The pom pon hinoki cypress reaches a mature size of 10 feet in height and 4 feet in width and requires moist, well-drained soil to maintain proper growth.
